Past and Today ...

                             This school was founded on 1/3/1949 . The name was givan in honour of the chief and leading tea merchant of Rangoon.Shri Govindbhai Jorabhai Patel. His native was SUNAV , 15 kms away from V.V.Nagar. Hedonated great amount of money for this school in the crucialand perceiverent work of the founder fatheres of v.v.nagar Shri Bhikhabhai and Bhaikaka.

                              In the beginning the school was both for the boys and girls.But in 1971 it was isolated for girls only and for standard 5 to 10. The constuction Minister of Mahagujarat Shri Jivraj N. Mehta.inaugurated this school.
