Past and Today ...

This school was founded on 1/3/1949 . The name was givan in honour of the chief and leading tea merchant of Rangoon.Shri Govindbhai Jorabhai Patel. His native was SUNAV , 15 kms away from V.V.Nagar. Hedonated great amount of money for this school in the crucialand perceiverent work of the founder fatheres of v.v.nagar Shri Bhikhabhai and Bhaikaka.

In the beginning the school was both for the boys and girls.But in 1971 it was isolated for girls only and for standard 5 to 10. The constuction Minister of Mahagujarat Shri Jivraj N. Mehta.inaugurated this school.The school building has well-ventilated 18 big rooms and a sufficient ground with a cement - concreate made stage.It has a well arrangements of lavatory and urinals The school runs both the primary and a secondary section in a separated building. The special feature is the teaching of home science in secondary section The school possesses a well furnished library and it has a variety of books. The school has a well-equipped laboratory facility also.
